Nickelodeon NFTs are dropping on OpenSea and it’s gonna be splatastic.

OpenSea is about to get SLIMED.

With a little help from our friends, RECUR has created 12 brand new, completely unique NFTs as companions to the official Rugrats and Hey Arnold! drop. On July 15th, OpenSea is helping to kick off our throwback to the ’90s Nickelodeon days with a 24-hour auction of these super rare NFTs.

Who’s coming?

Are you excited to see some of your old friends? They’re all dressed up and ready to collect! Like the Nickelodeon NFT collection, this special auction will feature your favorites from Rugrats and Hey Arnold!, including Angelica, Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie, Arnold, Gerald, Helga, Phoebe, Harold, and Rhonda. But unlike the Nickelodeon NFT collection, these characters are dressed in costumes from their old days. Two classic cartoon shows, two bands of rascals, and an entirely new experience.

How can I bid?

The bidding will start at ~$50, subject to the price of ETH. To join the excitement, just head to OpenSea starting on July 15th at 2pm ET and place your bids.

The auction is planned to close on July 16th at 2pm ET. If any bids are placed in the last 10 minutes of the auction, the auction will be extended by another 10 minutes. Whoever places the final bid will be the proud owner of a unique Nickelodeon NFT character, unavailable anywhere else.

What will the highest bidder receive?

For the lucky few who will get to claim one of these as your own, you’ll get a few extra surprises as well. The 12 winning bidders will get a total package* including:

1. A hand-drawn, unique Nickelodeon NFT from the auction
2. A free Nickelodeon NFT Pack from the drop on Nickelodeon.xyz
3. A RECUR Pass
4. A physical piece of artwork with your auction NFT

We knew bringing Nickelodeon to OpenSea was the best possible way we could tear open this time capsule, but there’s more fun to go around when the full Nickelodeon NFT drop begins July 18th for select RECUR Pass Holders and July 19th for the general public.
