We’ve all heard it. Two factor authentication (2FA) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) are some of the easiest things you can do to further secure your accounts.
Since day one, MFA has been required for all users on RECUR. That’s because we know how impactful this seemingly simple security measure can be.
But we also know that receiving SMS codes isn’t always the best experience. From carrier delays to unsupported countries and phone numbers, there are a number of reasons why SMS MFA codes may not reach you in a timely manner.
To give you even more flexibility, we’ve now added the ability for you to use an authenticator app instead of SMS codes. That way, you can choose your preferred method for accessing your account. This feature is available to you whether you’re on Nickelodeon.xyz, StarTrek.xyz, or any other experience Powered by RECUR.
With this new feature, you’ll never have to deal with SMS code delays again if that’s what you decide. Or maybe you don’t want another app on your phone. You can stick with SMS. But don’t worry, you’re not stuck with the method you choose now. You can switch it in your account settings at any time.

Connect Your MetaMask Wallet to RECUR
A few months ago, we launched the ability to connect your MetaMask wallet(s) to your RECUR account. Now you have all the benefits of owning RECUR NFTs, regardless if they’re on RECUR or in your MetaMask wallet. Increased interoperability, ease of use, and the power of choice all in one place.

Verifying your identity in the Web3 space has long been a complicated and confusing process. Gone are those days. Now, verifying your identity on RECUR takes seconds to minutes instead of hours to days. You control how and when you verify your identity, keeping your account safe and opening up access to more features.
Pay Your Gas Fees with Credit Card
Now you no longer have to top up your balance on RECUR to transfer your digital collectibles — you can use your credit card instead. Simply select the credit card option, fill in your details, and that’s it. It’s as easy as that. It may seem like a simple change but enabling this feature gives you more choice, truer ownership, and ultimately more time saved.
